Help needed updating Arduino 1.5.5r.2

Post by Capt. John » Thu Dec 05, 2019 9:24 pm

Jason said I needed to update the Rambo board for SD3 to see both extruders in my M2 kit.

Downloaded Arduino, came as a zip file on my windows 7 computer.
Being a zip file after it's unzipped which file do I load on a SD card to plug into the rambo?
All of them, or what?

I know to the experienced this is a piece of cake, in my case it's as clear as mud.

Purchased this kit when they first came out. New hot end is way better than
to old one. I am currently making production parts with hot end 0.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks beforehand!

Hopefully you figured this out by now but here's the condensed version as I remember it.

Unzip Arduino (it has to be 1.5.5) to a folder on your computer.
Run Arduino when done.

Under the "Tools" tab

Set Board to (Arduino/Genuino Mega or Mega 2560)
Set Processor to (Atmega2560 (Mega 2560)
Set Port to what ever USB your printer is pluged into.

Under file Open the scketch you want to upload to the Rambo and then hit the arrow that says Upload.

It should do the rest and let you know when it's done.
