Order of dual color printing

Post by terrymcc » Sat Nov 20, 2021 6:47 pm

I am attempting my first dual color printing with M3-ID. I want to make a flat plate with lettering. Similar look to an engraved panel where the letters have been color filled. I have most of it figured out and have each nozzle printing the correct part. I have T0 printing the engraved plate with lettering against the glass and T1 printing the lettering fill.

The issue I am having is T1 prints the first layer of the lettering before T0 prints the first layer of the plate. I think I would get a better result if the plate layer printed first and the letters came back and filled in. How do I control which head prints first on the first layer?

Thanks for any advice.
