The printer gets connected via usb cable and is the accessed using the Simplified 3d, it does not show up as a printer like a inkjet printer.
You can also use the slicing software (S3D) to slice the STL file, the write the Gcode to a SD card. you can then move the SD card to the printers card reader and use the LCD panel to print the file on the SD card. There is pdf document on this form that will assist in the setup and use of the printer.

The work flow would be to get you STL file (3d model) to your laptop from your 3d cad software or off the internet, slice it into Gcode with the Slicing software (S3D or other ) then from the slicing software print it via USB or write it to SD card.
Try not to get frustrated, you will need to spend a lot of time reading, learning curve with the slicer can be a couple of weeks to months to get good with it.
