ok i got the first one done. this one i wanted to paint like its the real thing. the other one ill do something fancy with later on.

Very nice! Blow your socks off nice. You definitely have some major talent there Jim. Better be careful who you show that to, might end up with a bag over your head in some dungeon somewhere getting interrogated. :)

thanks, i wanted something real looking for the first one so i think i managed to pull that off. the next one i have primed and ready to go but ill do something a little more fun on that when i get around to it.

Awesome chrome to be done in-house.

I have chrome-metalized parts in my fishing tackle lineup, but it has to be sent
out and done in a vacuum camber.

Very interested in where you purchased the chrome painting process.

Its really a ton of work john. This stuff has been around for some years but its such a pia to do. Alsacorp makes a couple chrome type systems. One is mirrachrome the other is their chromefx system. Chrome fx is better

Check this out...3d print did a story on the bomb. Very cool. They did mention makergear in there as well. From this article i just got a call from the star ledger who wants to write a story on it as well. I just finished an interview with them.
