Creativedex- that is a lot more replacing than I would think was normal. I am trying to recall, but I have replaced maybe one in over two years. I can't really even remember if It was replaced it was so long ago.

I have replaced a failing heater cartridge that had loosened in the housing, giving very erratic temp readings. Have you checked there for an issue.
I'm finally back to where I started two days ago!

A thread with some stuff in it I update every once in a while. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9

My printers run as close to 24/7 as i can keep them running, so perhaps they are to be considered a consumable. It would be nice to get a baseline of typical life span to plan for which is why im asking the community... after i replaced the thermistor it started working just fine again... I must note that ive noticed that every time the thermistor is changed i must tweak the temp settings a few degrees... 5 degrees higher with this last change.
