Me neither, unfortunately. Got really tired of all the trackers. (I likes me privacy....Arggghhh!)
Re: Hay lets be social
You guys are ridiculous. I got one connection out of this.

Re: Hay lets be social
funny i have all these social website accts but they were really set up by my marketing guy and never use them. i totally refuse to log into facebook. in 4 years i have been on 6 times. imo it should be totally outlawed. linkedin is not so bad. i can deal with that one...sort of.

I don't use Facebook much either, but I figured some people would use it exclusively. I like to network, not socialize

Re: Hay lets be social
Chuckle! I'm afraid the whole Facebook thing got to be too disruptive a few years ago, and I had to kill the account. (Aside from the tracking, which really does tick me off.)
With all the scrapbookers on the boards I moderated, the locals were always wanting to pop in for personal instruction or crops - not possible for that many people, and they can get their feelings very hurt when you tell them no, no matter how nicely you word it. (Which left me feeling like a heel all the time.)
So I had to establish that I was happy to help, but only through the forum. (We managed to get most of them up and running, and I didn't have to turn them away from the door, so it worked out okay.)

Re: Hay lets be social
I circled you in g+ for what it's worth mate. Can't do the Facebook thing.
Re: Hay lets be social
Same here, stopped using them a long time ago. Still have a G+ but I never post to it.
Same reason here, mostly for privacy. They're just huge databases that can and probably will be used against you in the future. Not that it will do any good anyway since everything is getting funneled into government databases.

Re: Hay lets be social
Should someone (possibly me) create a Makergear users group on Facebook so the connections could be made to that group instead of from person to person?
