What S3D setting causes this?

Layer Height is set to 0.200mm, Extrusion width is on Auto. but reads 0.42 in the greyed out box. Its basically the file you posted earlier but I dialed back the temperature to 245 in hopes it would stop the stringiness.

well all pet is a little on the stringy side. it will always slightly collect on the nozzle BUT excess on the nozzle is a tell tale sign its not printing right. at this point i really dont know what is going on with your infill. if we were running the same hot end i could help a little more but i have never worked out any pet settings while i was using the v3b.

I appreciate all the help. maybe I'll switch to V4 and try again once I've recovered a little pride :)
