Does anyone else have MG's new style LCD? After I upgraded my firmware I lost my electronics enclosure fan. Would any of you guys know how I can get that little guy up and running? I don't want to run my M2 without it so I am dead in the filament so to speak.

Thanks Will. That's what MG just told me. Seems odd though. Does anyone know a way to override that and keep the fan on? It is usually around eighy/ninety degrees where I have my M2 setup. I don't want to kill my board since I tend to have it powered up for long periods without printing anything.

Unless you mean 80-90C, the electronics will not give a hoot at all about sitting there with no moving air at 80-90F. Most of the components on the board are rated to run all day long at 90C (the airflow probably isnt' even necessary, just a precaution)Mark the Greater wrote:Thanks Will. That's what MG just told me. i have my case fan and the extrude fan wired directly to the 24v. i see no reason for with to ever be off.

New issue!
Since upgrading to the new firmware my prints are crashing. I get a message about Unresponsive Firmware in my where my G code normally scrolls. The last print actually made a perfect "X" across my print while laying down the raft. It also dumped long puddles of plastic randomly. If I can pull up a picture I'll post it.

Are you using Arduino IDE version 1.5.5 (beta) to flash? Newer compiler is causing issues.

I will try reverting when I get home. Funny thing is, it ran a thirteen hour print just fine the day before. Come to think of it I have always used the newest version of their IDE. I've only had my M2 for a few months.
