Heated Bed Temp Limit

Post by sckibbons » Fri Sep 04, 2015 3:17 am

Hi All,

I recently upgraded my M2 with dual extruders but I have noticed that the bed appears to be struggling to reach 120°C. Prior to installing the dual extruders, this was not an issue. The bed still shows difficulty reaching temp when I am only using one of the two extruders. My printer is running off of a 24V power supply. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're not running the fan, are you?

Are all the connections tight? It's easy to knock the plug a bit loose trying to cram all the wires into the box with dual-extruders.

Which firmware are you using?

Only the extruder fan is running but its not directed at the bed. I installed the M2 Dual Extruder Marlin firmware. All the connectors look to be secured tightly.
