I've got this weird fan issue on a V4 extruder that just started happening-- the extruder cooling fan spins up to speed and then just shuts off. After a few seconds it spins up to speed again and then shuts off again. This just keeps happening over and over from the moment the machine is turned on and continues while printing. The only variable is the off cycle, which can have longer delays before turning back on. I wouldn't expect a bad electrical connection to cause such an evenly timed cycle like this, it seems to be software driven. I can't imagine how a software bug could just startup after printing for many weeks without a problem though, but maybe there is something that monitors the fan current and it is not liking what it sees and is shutting the fan off.
Any ideas?

Re: Fan Starts/Stops Repeatedly
Turns out the fan went bad. I swapped out a fan from another printer and it works fine now.
