Extruder fan not turing on

Ok, I know the fan works, and can manually turn it on, but on its own, the Fan that sits at a 45 degree angle towards the print bed does not turn on. I know i saw a setting at some point to turn the fan on automatically when the extruder reached a certain temp, but cant seem to find it again. I am brand new to the machine and still trying to get used to it.

There's a setting for controlling the fan on the Cooling Tab in S3D.
