ok I see what u meanJules wrote:Here is a picture of green filament going through the holes. (coming out of the filament drive and going into the hotend)
If you get in really close with a flashlight, you should be able to see it from the side.
Unless you have the dual, your filament drive is going to look different than that. Yours should be much easier to see from the left side.

By habit I extruded by 100mm by mistake when feeding it.Jules wrote:How much did you extrude? It takes at least 50 mm to fill it back up again, but take it in batches of 10 mm.
Re: Installed a new 30mm nozzle and its a mess!
100 mm is too much to extrude at one time - even with PLA. You might have just stripped the filament.
Try retracting it completely (perfectly okay to retract 100 mm at a time), cut the end off flat, straighten the first 4 inches of the filament, and feed it back it 10-20 mm at a time until you either see it in that gap or it gets stuck.
By the way, if it does get stuck - stop extruding immediately and retract it out.

Re: Installed a new 30mm nozzle and its a mess!
alright I did everything over but this time made sure the the holes on the level mount were level with the hotend top and there was about 1mm gap showing the filament.
I also extruded at 10mm at a time vs 100mm.
Sadly no change.
I am going to just call it quits for now as my accessory part set will be here today (hopefully).
And Ill just pop in a new hotend/nozzle and hope that will do the trick.
Thank you Jules and everyone else that tried to help.
I will update late today when I receive my new parts to try.

Also check your Filament Drive Screw tension before you quit. It is another thing that can mimic a clogged nozzle. (Jammed or stripped filament/clogged teeth in your drive gear.)

how would I check for clogged teeth in my drive gear.Jules wrote:Also check your Filament Drive Screw tension before you quit. It is another thing that can mimic a clogged nozzle. (Jammed or stripped filament/clogged teeth in your drive gear.)
Would I have to take off that part? The black 3d printed plastic part correct?
Re: Installed a new 30mm nozzle and its a mess!
You would remove the fans (there are just a couple of screws that hold that whole assembly on) and let them dangle - don't have to unplug, then shine a flashlight in at the teeth on the gear.
If they are clogged, you would remove the drive to clean them with a stiff wire brush.
