Re: MIC6 preorder number 2
alright then I'm good for no blasting. I have no real plans to print in nylon, and if I do I'll just throw the boro back on and readjust my starting height

Re: MIC6 preorder number 2
I'm in if you still have any available. I have a sandblaster so no blasting necessary on mine if it'll keep the cost down.

Re: MIC6 preorder number 2
I'm still in for Qty 2 with PEI. If it will make them easier to make, I'll opt out of the bead blasting for both.

Closes wednesday, ordering everything then. ALL sheets will be PEI preapplied, smooth both sides.

Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *HERE WE GO*
Parts en-route.
These will be exactly $99, plus actual S&H (which I think is $13?). Once they're made, I'll post the purchase link.
Technical specifications:
* MIC6 aluminum, 8x10". The parts may be slightly undersized by up to 1/16".
* 1/16" Ultem PEI preapplied with 3M 3535 urethane adhesive, rated to 120C.
* PEI will be scoured slightly. You'll get a tighter bond over time with the matte finish.

Subscribing just in case there is an extra one...
Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *HERE WE GO*
I have all 21 beds and 21 PEI coverings cut out. The polyurethane adhesive I wanted to use isn't going to work out -- so I've now ordered the 3M transfer sheets. Once those arrive I can start shipping.

Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *HERE WE GO*
I'm interested in one that's smooth on one side and bead blasted on the other (don't care about PEI).
Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *HERE WE GO*
Well we have an arrangement then -- I have one that's covered in my failed adhesive project. Sanding that off will produce the nice rough edge you want, and save me from trying to use it for the PEI sheet.LonV wrote:I'm interested in one that's smooth on one side and bead blasted on the other (don't care about PEI).
