Since this is a field trial (few dozen participants) we are running several of the parts in-house (these types of parts would normally be machined for us). This is inevitably producing some delays (throughput, machine availability, illness, etc) but we are very close to getting units shipped.

It looks like the first batch will ship tomorrow (7/31) and rest will ship the following week.

Rick, feel free to hold mine till next week, and get them into the mail to others. I won't be able to come in to pick mine up this week.

We are shipping a couple of variants of the v4. If you specifically want an all metal v4, please let me know here. If you receive the upgrade and it does not have an all-metal v4 and you need the all-metal version, just contact us.

If there are different variants then you should let us know what they are before we can decide what we want.

The all metal version sounds like what I want and expected, but tell me why I would choose the other option and you might convince me.

The main selling point of the V4 all along is that it's all metal, so unless you tell us why the other variants are better in some situations I suspect
you're going to get mostly "I want all metal" responses.

Same for me, I'd prefer to test out the all metal extruders.
